I am also struggling with this. Any advice would be hugely appreciated.

I don't think anything is prohibited as such. It is just that many women with endo cannot manage an active lifestyle anyway because of crippling pain. My doctor always encourages me to be more active, go for walks when i can etc. I would say listen to your body and also talk to your doctor/gym instructor etc about any specific exercises you need to avoid based on your specific issues and symptoms. Other than that, i don't see why you should not be active. Giving up on exercise is likely to do more harm than good for your endo.

Yes, I've also heard that we should exercise as much as we can. Helps to stop things getting too stuck inside, but also good anyway.

I do know how hard it is. I push myself to do it against the pain sometimes. But other times I just stop exercising at all for a few days. It's not easy!

Take care. I think the important thing is not to punish ourselves with it.

Appreciate your response. I've always been active and it's really a change of my system to be mellow this time. Triathlon dream wont come true then... Health is our priority and I just have to deal with it.
