Hi all, I had a pelvic MRI (never had an MRI before) 4 and a half weeks ago which was organised by the endo clinic i'm in. I was in there for about 40 minutes and I got told 2-3 weeks for results but I haven't heard anything (I thought I'd get a letter?). I rang the doctors and they don't have my results, is it best to ring the hospital or Are they expecting me to wait until my follow up appointment in September?
Just wondering if anyone knows what could be the case here, Thanks.

That is not the way it should be, you have the right to know what was seen even if nothing could be found.
I would definitely call your gyno.
Two weeks ago I got my tenth MRI in a few years time, I am still not used to it. This time they scanned my abdomen and I was called a day later by my gyno who told me they found multiple DIE. I was referred same day to a BSGE center en now awaiting my appointment in end of August...
Contact the gynae secretary. For me it takes at least 4weekd from the date a letter is written to receiving it. My first MRI at an Endo centre years ago took over 3 months and an official complaint to get the results. They should write to you and send a copy to the gp to tell you what it showed. X
