Hi ladies.

This is my first post here- some ladies here might know me as I'm also a member on infertility network- TTC 5 years 10 months.

After 6 months of severe pain on my lower left abdominal side- I had a laparoscopy done this week by my fertility consultant. He found endometriosis in the pouch of Douglas and removed. I don't think there was much there.

He thinks this has caused my pain and infertility.

Have had issues with my periods over the years which have been overlooked by the medics.

This is all very new to me and it would be nice to talk to others going through similar. X

Hey Jess1981 I'm part of infertility network also. My husband and I were trying for nearly 3 years had 1 failed IVF and 4 weeks after my lap to get my mild endo removed I fell pregnant I am currently 8 weeks with my first :-). Try and stay hopeful there are a lot of people who have had surgery to remove endo and fallen pregnant quite quickly. I wanted it removed so that I knew I was giving my second round the best chance of success and never needed it xx
