Enometriosis after menopause.

As anyone been diagnosed after the menopause ?. I think i might have had problems for years but had severe pain start 12 months ago which they thought was a appendicitis but i had my first laparoscopy a few weeks back which didn't show anything now not quite sure what to do. Does anyone get inflammation pain and not period type pain ?.
