Decapeptyl - side effects

Hey All,

So after a Sub total hysterectomy 4.5 years ago the Endometriosis is back with a vengeance, have tried a few other meds to help but was finally given Decapeptyl 18 days ago.

I feel ok ish at the mo. Had some headaches, bit of an upset tummy and slight bone ache but apart from that not bad at all.

I have 2 questions........

1) If my ovaries had already started to decline, would the side effects of Decapeptyl be less?

2) if not, when would the real menopausal systems kick in?

Obviously I know every is different but I can't help thinking I'm in a false sense of security right now.
