Yeah I take gabapentin, what dose have you been given? My doc always said and pharmacy to increase them slowly eg 1 first day two second three third etc etc my highest dose was 9 daily so used to take two two two then three a bedtime, first time round I was lucky and didn't have any side effects second time round this time I was convinced my hair was thinning and was another post on here that said her hair was thinning so she was changed to gab sis drug. I was also told when coming of them it had to be done very slowly and reduced every second day, hope this info helps good luck and hope they work for you X

Hiya I was on 3 tablets a day for 3 weeks and had a really bad experience with side effects and they didn't help the pain. I was literally bumping into walls and was so unsteady on my feet along with extreme fatigue. The doctor explained that these are common side effects but should have settled within a week or so or with changing the dosage. I was quickly taken off them and prescribed an alternative which I've been fine with. I've heard they are great for some people but I just couldn't function on them. Hopefully they work out for you! x
