Hi Jane, Did they remove any of the Endo for you? I have been trying to concieve for three years with no Joy, my GP transferred me to a fertility clinic and all my tests came back normal and the same for my husband. I told them that I think I may have endometriosis as I have a lot of symptoms and so they sent me for a Laparoscopy a week ago and it came back they I do have Endo. I was told by the surgeon beforehand that if I had a little Endo she could remove it but if there was a lot she couldn't do it at this stage. Nothing was removed so I must have a lot. I have an appointment in three weeks with the fertility clinic to go and discuss the findings in more detail and they have photos to show me apparently.

Hi,

In my case there was a lot removed but still not complete.

Pregnancy will help to subside endo.

So they suggested IVF.

They suggested IVF to me before the Laparoscopy but I was quite keen to have the Laparoscopy to find out if I did have Endo. I think IVF is what they will suggest again when I go back in a couple of weeks .

In advanced sonography , it can be identified if there is endo. However, many a times the doctor who does sonography is not suspecting endo. So he/she will not mention about it.

All said to confirm endo, one need to do laparoscopy. In my case doctor was prepared to remove endo tissues during the surgery.

Because of the advanced sonography my doctor was able to quickly diagnose.
