Hello all! My last appointment was admittedly quite disappointing as I still did not get a promise of a laparoscopy, but ANOTHER new prescription! Hooray?! I live in Canada, so I don't know if that changes much, but have any of you been on Visanne? Did I help you at all?
Visanne: Hello all! My last appointment was... - Endometriosis UK

Visanne worked great for me..! I only had mood changes every once in a while but I also pushed myself to excercise more and changed diet. I hope you feel better soon
Hi there. I am interested to know what your experience was after visanne treatment. I just got off it last week and started to have white discharge but no period yet. I am not sure if it is good that im having a heavy discharge now. Also when did you do another scan after being on Visanne? Thanks.
Hello! Visanne (Visannette here in Greece) was the best solution for me. I have ovarian endometriosis and after taking them for only 6 months, the endometrioma reduced in size and the pain went away. That was a few years ago and I am still pain free and the cyst is still small. I recently read the study "Synthetic Hormone Dienogest Reduces Ovarian-cyst Recurrence Size and Pain" and my experience is exactly that.
Surgery isn't always the best option, because it can cause chronic pelvic pain. I hope visanne will work for you as well.
Best wishes!
After I started taking it the pain went away.. 8 months later I had a second lap due to a new cyst that tore (?) My doctor changed.me to Cerazette and I still have no period.. almost 2 years now
