Red Cervix?

I went to the doctor because I am concerned that I might have endometriosis, they did swabs and a internal examination where they discovered my cervix is red and sore on both sides. I am unsure if this is related to endometriosis, could this be symptom? Or is it probably something else? Really worried it might be a Std. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like it's inflamed. Have they recommend an ultrasound to find out more? My OB recommend blood work, pap smear, and an ultrasound to see if there was something more to it. I would think of you had signs of endometriosis they would at least consider the ultrasound to further investigate. But keep in mind endometriosis isn't always found in an ultrasound. I had to be cut open just to see if they found anything. I wish you luck
