First gyno appointment

Hi. After 11 years of pelvic pain and last year developing massive lower back pain. Doc finally wrote to gyno!! Waiting for my first appointment. Can anyone help with what they experienced in their first appointment pls

During my first appointment, I told about my symptoms. She asked me some questions and did a gynecological examination and transvaginal ultrasound. I was told to take oral contraceptives and naproxen for 3 months and then come back to her. She also mentioned that a laparoscopy could be necessary if it didn't work 😊 Good luck with your appointment 😄

Thank you for replying. I have written a book haha. Been on 2 different forms of birth control and living on ibrofen!! Had loads of cameras and scans so really hoping she suggests something different. I understand there's no cure for endo bit just want it confirmed- if that's what it is
