How long after a complicated operative laparoscopy will intercourse feel normal ? I had most of my endo scraped and burned off but still have superficial spots on my bowel so was wondering is my pelvic pain during sex related to the healing or the endo that's left on my bowel? The pain is felt deep in my pelvis. Also, should I consider changing my diet... What foods should I avoid ? Dairy, gluten/wheat?

Hi I looked at one of your previous post and it says you had endo on the uterosacral ligaments. It also looks as if you have severe endo . Was your op done at a BSGE centre? Severe endo should only be dealt with at a centre so if this was not the case then I would suggest you get a referral to one, especially as bowel is involved.

I live in Australia so I'm not really sure if it works the same in other countries. The op was performed at a private hospital with a specialist in endo, basically known as a "pioneer for endometriosis".
