Speak to your nurse to confirm , I had zoladex injections but only for four months i had an awful experience but to be fair my health at the time was not good at all I was told during this that zoladex side affects can last anything from 6 months and could take a year or so everybody is different the side affects were very clear in my case so gave me a tablet to take to help counteract the side affects I think it was called hrt it stopped the side affects hope this helps
Hi there, I stopped my 3 monthly zoladex injections in September 2015 and had no periods (but lots of hot flushes etc) until September 2016 so a whole year off injections. My consultant said it was rare so tested my bloods for the early menopause, they came back that I have very low amh levels but not the early menopause. They put me on hrt to minimise the hot flushes and 28 days later, bam full blown period with added endo pain. The endo was just lying dormant and is as bad as ever (I'd stopped the injections in sept 15 after having an operation to remove the endo) so I'm now back on the injections but they haven't stopped my periods yet. Hopefully soon.
I'd mention it to your doctor/consultant if they don't start soon but it's nothing to majorly worry about.
