Mini-pill and hair loss

I have only been on the mini-pill (Cerelle) for a few weeks and I am starting to find hairs everywhere. I just wondered if anyone else has had this side effect? Have you found that it is only temporary as your body gets used to the new hormone?

I actually didn't develop this until 3 months after the pill but during the time I got used to it, I gained a lot of body hair (I'm practically hairless) and then it started to fall out after the 3 months and now I'm losing hair. I'm also awaiting to be tested for anemia which the mini pill can cause due to malabsorption in the stomach.

Thanks for your reply and info. I hope it works out for you and you haven't got anaemia. I'm going to give it more of a chance for me to get used to it and then if I am still losing hair, I will also get tested for anaemia.

Also you might need to strengthen the roots in my case I lost hair once b/c I wasn't strengthening them.

Also it might help if your hair is dry, I had bad hair in grade 8 Idk why but this is what I learnt:

- no sodium Laureth sulfate (it's in detergents) I found it gives me dandruff and makes me lose hair

- Try to be Leary of silicones

- Leave conditioner in for about 5-10 min like a hair mask

- Before washing hair out witch hazel on a brush and brush it through I also use palmers spray

- brush with a cuishon brush

- no tight buns or not tails

- sleep with your hair in a braid
