1 week ago today I had my first lap and diagnosed with severe endo. My gynecologist said it won't affect my fertility but said I should consider starting a family early. I'm 20 years old btw and am really confused. I feel like what he said has contradicted itself?

I have been told the same. There is no proof that Endo affects your fertility but that doesn't mean it won't. Everyone is different and you may conceive normally, but our biological clock is slightly less time than women without Endo. As you may get other symptoms that affect it...
Don't let it stress you out... lots of people with Endo conceive normally.
