End of Zoladex

[EMH26]

Hi All

I am currently in the last month of a six month course of Zoladex with HRT. I was wondering if anyone knows when I am supposed to stop taking the HRT? I meant to ask doc at last appointment but, as is usual these days, I forgot! Any advice gratefully received.

I was told to stop talking mine 4 weeks after my last injection x

Thank you! I suppose I should check with the doc. How did you feel at the end of it all?

Zoladex didn't work for me. I still suffered with pain and had horrific side effects so I was glad to stop it. 3 months since my last injection and I'm still suffering with hot flushes! I was put on Norethisterone 3 times a day 4 weeks after my last injection as I'm now having a hysterectomy and excision surgery next month and my consultant didn't want me to suffer with my periods until then xx

Good luck! Zoladex worked for me in that it reduced the endo before my excision surgery but didn't help the pain. I'm still struggling and next appt isnt until Feb 17! I hope your surgery is a success x
