Hi, I'm new here, just joined, I was told I had endometriosis two years ago, I had a op that removed my right ovary & about 7 cysts all together.

I joined the group so I had someone to talk to about it & that understood how I felt, I don't know anyone near me that has it or will understand how I feel.

My endometriosis scares me 😢

Thank you 🙂

I have good & bad days, no one understands when I have bad days, I get told the pain can't be that bad, I shouldn't be that tired.

My husband is great, but I've started hiding when I'm having a really bad day, telling him I'm ok.

What scares me is that my endo will get worse again & I have to go back to hospital to have my left ovary & womb out, not everyone that knows me knows I not got my right ovary, they just think I got poorly & ended up in hospital twice.

Thank you again, for letting me know I'm not on my own with endo 🙂

Your not alone!

I was diagnosed two years ago stage 4. Had my left ovary and cysts removed last year. It is horrible and the tiredness is just awful.

Hopefully this support on here will help you.

Have you got a locally support hospital network you could go to?? there is one near me but I have never been.

Xx

The surgeon didn't tell what stage mine is, but he said I was lucky to have the two boys we have.

After my op, when he took my right ovary, I was told he couldn't save it, I had three cysts the size of golf balls & another two not so big on there, then he took two off my left ovary, went for check up three months on my own & the doctor I see said I was ok the three golf size cysts wasn't cancer, I didn't know they was checking them for cancer, I was so upset when I come out cos I went on my own.

I don't know if there is a support group in my area.

Girls, all of these stories make me so sad!! I feel terrible for every one of you. Please please look into natural alternatives and eating correctly for endo!! My case was horrible just like you ladies and I turned it around incredibly!!! With cutting out dairy wheat and eating less red meat. Please do yourselves a favor and research these things! Progesterone cream too. I had horrible horrible pain my first period lasted 30days and didn't stop till they put me on the pill. I was covered in adhesions had a fibroid tumor at 13 which is unheard of an had pain that would make my legs go numb. Years later I Got married, couldn't get pregnant had tons of pain, bleeding with sex. It was terrible!! They did an ultrasound and found A cyst inside my ovary that was the size of an orange 7cm, mind you your ovary is only the size of an almond so my dr. Said if he went in to get it I'd loose my ovary! I was 22 and newly married and wanted tons of kids so I went a holistic route and guess what ?!?! My fertility specialist has looked for it twice now and says it's GONE. My pain is GREATLY decreased as well completely manageable with out meds. Where as pain killers use to not even phase my pain. My point in all this is there is hope even when it doesn't feel like it. And there are other options besides getting organs cut out which is so terrible :( my mom had a totally hysterectomy when she was young and now shes 57 and feels like she 70 because of the lack of hormones in her body since she can't produce them anymore it's horrible and no one ever tells you about those effects when theyre so quick to suggest surgery. She used progesterone creams and estrogen creams but it only helps so much. So please please don't rush into surgery's im SO glad I didnt. Get a second opinion, see a specialist, find a holistic dr or I'd be more than happy to share the remedies I've used to get rid of my cyst. There so much science to how these things form they are all fed by the same thing, estrogen it's added to our foods and things like pesticides, cleaning products, hygiene products, all contain chemicals that our bodies read as more estrogen there called endocrine disruptors. And by balancing your hormones and eating well, you can keep endo and cysts from coming back too! Thats another thing that is not at all guaranteed with surgery because your not fixing the cause of the problem by cutting things out. You must fix what's causing them in the first place. Good luck ladies!!
