I'm 23 and was diagnosed with endo in May I've undergone prostap injections & HRT but have had to stop due to the side effects being too much to cope with.
I'm really worried as now I've stopped the injections and HRT I feel exactly the same as I did before I started all the treatment and I'm concerned that the injections may not have worked!
I have constant severe lower back pain and and abdominal pain and I'm exhausted all the time.
I'm due to see my consultant again next week to see what more can be done but I'm terrified of her turning me away with no further treatment and having to go through this pain on a daily basis.
Has anyone else gone through something similar and have any advice on how to manage the pain as no painkillers I have tried work.
Thanks!

I don't know if it helps, but when I was told to have the injections and HRT for 9 months I was originally put on Prostap but I reacted really badly to it (it made the pain 100 times worse - I ended up in A&E as my GP thought I had appendicitis because the pain was so bad and had gone on for so long). My consultant had put in my letter to my GP that I could either have Prostap or Zoladex, so after this incident I was put on Zoladex instead. I've had 5 injections of it so far and it's worked really well, nothing at all like the Prostap. Perhaps see if you could be put on that instead?
I hope this helps, and I hope you get some relief soon!
