The pill and endometriosis

Hello all,

After being fed up for bleeding for 6 weeks, I decided to look at how many times I've had my period in the last few months.. 8 times in 4 months, this led me to go to the doctor, she mentioned endo and next Tuesday I'm off to see a gynecologist who specializes in endometriosis! But my overall question is does the pill cause endometriosis to make you bleed for longer or get your period more often ?
