Finally..

Had my second ultrasound scan and this time they have found a shadow near my ovary. They have speeded up my gynaecoligist appointment to this Friday. I I'm really worried but also relieved that finally they have found something. What do I need to be prepared for my first appointment?

I found it helpful to write down any questions that I had as I knew I'd forget them when I was in the appointment. The gyne asked lots of questions about my cycles in the past, my pains and when I got them and things like that. I took my husband with me as I knew I wouldn't be able to take everything in, so it was good to have someone else there to listen.

My gyne did an internal exam, so I would expect yours may do the same.

Try not to worry, it is good that you are getting seen quicker now. Good luck xx
