Prostap side effect?

Hi all, I have had 5 months on Prostap and my one knee has swollen and the other is achy. Does anybody have this issue? Could it be a side effect of Prostap?

Hi there. Ive had terrible side effects from prostap. My whole body is in pain (joints and muscles) 24/7. It's unbearable and is getting constantly worse. My consultant thinks it's the prostap and has advised me not to have the next injection. These drugs are amazing, but effect everyone differently. For me (so far) the endo pain hasn't got better but now the additional body ache is just too much. My GP had put me on Gabapenthen to help with the pain as I can't take opiates. I'm hoping they'll see me through till the prostap is out of my system. If your pain has started since you started prostap I think it's possible that you're having a similar reaction to me. If you talk it through with your GP or consultant they'll be able to help (sorry. That was stating the bleeding obvious wasn't it?!😳). Loads of good wishes.

Thanks for your reply. Maybe it is then Prostate then as it has definitely only got this bad since on Prostap. I am having laparoscopic pelvic clearance soon, probably August but will find out when I see my bsge consultant in just over a week, so was wondering whether to not have them next injection. Think I will ask my consultant and see what he thinks.
