Burning up 24hrs after laparoscopy

I had a laparoscopy performed yesterday, I was discharged yesterday afternoon. As today's gone on I've got more and more flushed, but I feel cold. Has anybody else experienced this?

Hi,please give GP a call. If you are running a fever it could be that you have an infection, so it's always best to get checked out.

Hi Lucy so sorry to hear you are feeling poorly. Do you have a thermometer? If so take your temperature immediately. If not, I would call your GPs surgery straightawAy for advice, you may well have a post operative infection which may require antibiotics. As we are dashing towards the weekend please do this quickly.

Hi Jean and Bagpuss my gp rang me and prescribed me some antibiotics just to be on the safe side. As I had cystoscopy too. During the op theyfound endo which they have zapped and separated my bowel from apendix scar. So I'm bound to feel a bit under the weather. Also today my my partner has been rushed in to hospital and is having surgery as we speak as he had compartment syndrome in his arm.

I'm sorry to hear that you boyfriend has been taken ill. Glad you got the antibiotics, hopefully in a few days you should start to feel better. Just take things easy for a while. Hope his surgery goes well and that he is up and we'll again soon. Take care Hun.
