It's that time... again....

Bit of a rant coming up, but just have to get it out of my system out there where some people understand!!! :-(

So nearly 4 months post lap No. 3... my coil is being wonderful at stopping my bleeding, but good grief, why can't the pains go away!?? :'( I "came on" today (inverted commas - I'd hardly know about it if it wasn't for my cheery friend Endo stabbing me in the gut & back). At work. Paracetamol & Ibuprofen down & it's still there with vengeance.  Having a full bladder & bowels is painfully ridiculous too!

Why?!!! Can't it just leave me alone to get on with life in peace, or is this what life is going to be like every couple of weeks until the menopause (I almost wish I was about 30 years older, to make the thought a bit more bearable)??

Sooo fed up & don't know what to do :-( I have had an initial appointment with the Pain Clinic & going back to get my first steroid injection on 20th April, as he thought at the time it was muscle spasm causing the pain (naturally when I had my appointment my pain level wasn't too bad at all)... I have until June to go back to my Gynae without the need to be referred all over again, but what else is there he can say or do for me? :-(

sorry for a miserable post :-s xx

Have your laparoscopy s been completed by a specialist at a bsge centre or just general gyne, if gyne, then I would suggest if your in England to get a refferal to a bsge surgeon, so many gynes miss endo in certain locations that a specialist would look out for, good luck xxx

I've been at a Private Hosp under NHS; my nearest centre is nearly 2 hours away, but a more local hospital is aspiring to be a BSGE Centre... at my most recent lap I had some Peritoneal Excision.. I know it is much better than it used to be; before my lap it was cramps & living off Codeine every single day.

What else could they do though?? :-S

A specialist has completed a further 2_ training in excision surgery and would no better where to look, maybe they have missed something, good luck. My bsge centre is about 1:15 away, but I'm hoping it will be worth it, I'm due another lap within a few months, first at bsge centres,
