Hi, yes I was on these for a while. Did take the edge off the pain but I also needed other analgesia too. GP increased my buprenorphine patches to 10 mg before my 3rd op to help me manage at work. I had a total hysterectomy 4 weeks ago and on this time I weaned the dose down. Finally managed to come off them a week ago. My pain increased slightly so I know these patches were helping me. Are you on them for endometriosis? Katrina :)

Hi Katrina. I had total abdominal hysterectomy last year and then ovaries removed October but still experiencing pain so had mri scan Feb 16 and showed endometriosis in pelvis. Upset as hoping all had sorted after two operation . The patches are making me feel sick 😷

Hi, gosh I am sorry to hear you are still in pain. My Consultant told me that my endometriosis "shouldn't come back". But I am really unsure about this. I see him next week so will ask him again. Are you on HRT? I am on Livial tablets (also known as Tibolone) for 6 months then I don't know what. Will be told at appointment. I had prochlorperazine anti sickness buccal tablets for when I felt nauseous but luckily I got on ok with the patches. Were you really tired after hysterectomy? I am still exhausted.😴

Yes I was told the same so can only assume that they missed the endometriosis when they operated. I an Elleste hrt and will need to remain on them which isn't good considering the effect they have on the endometriosis. I got an infection after mine so took longer to recover but yes you will feel very tired as it takes it out of you. Hope you start to feel better soon 😊
