First appointment

I had my first gyne appointment today after waiting for 2 months and the doctor said I have to wait again to have a ultrasound I can't have it today, has this happened with everyone else as well?

And I had a list of stuff to tell him but he wasn't letting me speak he was just asking questions himself and was more interested in my career :/

Hello rahat20,

It is frustrating as things do take time, I've had t wat 3 months between appointments for test results etc and can be very disheartening. Please know your not alone and the NHS is like this.

I have has ultrasounds which reveal very little as due to my endo it is unclear. This lead to a laporscopy which identified cysts and fubriids as well as a tilted cervix.

I know its not easy but be patient and keep talking about your worries I find it does help

Xx

Hi, sorry to hear you didn't have a good experience with your gyne, so annoying, I would suggest next time you go, write all your symtoms in a letter, and when you have them and so on, give it to him to read, tell him your nervous about forgetting to tell him things, I did this and my gyne read it, then asked questions regarding what I'd put, might be worth a try,

Good luck

X

thank you and that is what i did i wrote everything down i had a letter which i was either going to read from or give it to him but he didn't give me the chance he wasn't even looking at me. next time i will see him after the ultrasound so then i hope i can give it to him. he did ask me questions saying do you have heavy period? do you have painful periods? have you been pregnant? but nothing more than that i wanted to tell him where the pain was and how long it lasts and all that but he would just ask me other questions.
