Micromalifications??
Microcalcifications sorry xx
Microcalcifications are tiny specks of mineral deposits (calcium), that can be scattered throughout the mammary gland, or occur in clusters. They can also be found in the prostate in men and lead to prostatic hyperplasia. When found on amammogram, a radiologist will then decide whether the specks are of concern - usually, this is not the case. Commonly, they simply indicate the presence of tiny benign cysts, but can signify the presence of early breast cancer; for this reason, it is important to attend regular screening sessions, as recommended by your health service.
This I found on Web. Could also be genetic. Or mean something else relating to Gyne. I would definitely recommend that you chase this up. Book gp and discuss with him. Also can arrange a blood test.
If it was urgent you'd know. Book gp and see if it needs acting on hun xxxx
I think it depends on where they found them, it can be sometimes related to fibroids or could be something caused by scarring from IUD or previous surgeries or small deposits that form like cysts. I'd ask the doctor when the next steps needed are, again depending on location but if it's within the uterine lining they may want to do a hysteroscopy for closer review
