Ca125 raised

Hi everyone. This is my first time here. I had blood tests Friday 13th November as I'm tired and have pelvic and back pain. The same day my GP called me in to tell me my ca125 was raised to 142 (normal is -35) I was seen exactly a week later by a Gynaecologist. I had a scan which showed fibroids and a cyst. Gynae scored me normal and said have another ca125 test in 2 months and a scan and see him with results. My scan appt was yesterday. It showed an endometrioma and endometriosis. I have to wait til. Jan 29th to see the Consultant.

Hi Sharon, you will find lots of really useful info on here! And as Lindle says you are entitled to see who you choose which i was unaware of until Lindle told me, I have requested to see someone in Oxford, my doctor wasn't over joyed that I had asked to see a specific person outside of my catchment area so fingers crossed i get an appointment soon 😊 I have opted for a 6 month course of Zoladex with a small dose of HRT in the hope it will prove my symptoms are connected to my periods etc I have had no serious side effects just a few night sweats? So all good so far! Hope you find some answers to your questions on here? This site has really helped me along with some excellent advice from Lindle.
