Hi everyone,

I recently had my first lap and was diagnosed with stage two endo. Does anybody know what kind of treatments I should expect and if they'll give me any painkillers? My post op appointment isn't until December!

Thanks

Hi Jebz13, it depends where they found the endo, if they removed it all or if they couldn't remove such as on your bowel or bladder these need specialists. They may offer you the contraceptive pill, mirena coil, or hormone injections like depo or they may put you through the menopause by injections. Try not to worry whilst you wait for your post op appointment eat healthy and look after yourself. I see my gp for painkillers I have stage two also naproxen seems to work on mild days but on bad days I take tramadol which has been decided through my gp not the consultant.
