That happened to me...
After living with an endometriosis diagnosis for 9 years but suffering for 15 years, having had 3 laparoscopies and various treatments including pain relief at the time, I took progesterone cream and thinking I couldn't have a family, fell pregnant. My son is my gift from God, a true miracle. I then panicked thinking that all the painkillers I had taken would have somehow damaged him. They didn't. Now here I am, 13 years later with a fine young man and despite endometriosis knocking me down daily, I am so happy and proud to his mother... Endo doesn't define me.
Hi, me and my hubby had been trying for 5 years, before I was diagnosed with a 8cm 'dermoid' cyst. I had open surgery to remove it and my ovary as it had destroyed it. I had always suspected I had endometriosis and the surgery discovered that I had stage 4 all over my bowels and bladder and the cyst was due to the endometriosis. I was told he couldn't see a reason I couldn't fall pregnant and to try naturally before my next major surgery, after that to try Ivf. I am now 6 weeks pregnant just 16 weeks after the surgery, and I was convinced we would need ivf, as I have never been pregnant before!
