Any Advice.

Hi there, I have finally been referred to a Gynae and they said my symptoms sound like Endometriosis and have booked me in for a Laparoscopy (not sure when)

I have been waiting ages to see a gynae and now I am booked in I keep thinking is it in my head?

Basically my symptoms started in November I started getting pains in my right ribs and lower down burning about a week before my period and then when I started my period about 3 days in it would ease then Ovulation Pain would be excruciating ( it was painful beforehand) but each month it seems to be getting worse, I constantly feel exhausted I can't be bothered doing anything, The pain in my ribs feels like something is stuck, I have just lent over to pick up the baby and felt like something was sticking out my lower right side oh it hurt it's now burning like hell. I think I have waited so long now they are doing a lap I feel like they are not going to find anything and it's all in my head.

I feel so low at the minute

sorry to hear you are so down.

I am afraid I don't have any real advice to give, I am new to this myself and in a similar situation (my lap is in 2 weeks). I totally sympathise with the feeling of it all being in your head though! I feel a total hypochondriac as I seem to be complaining of pain almost all the time to some varying degree. I know the pain is very real though. I feel worried that nothing will be found to explain all the symptoms at my lap which is silly because obviously I don't want to be ill!!

I really hope you find some answers and relief soon.
