every cloud has a silver lining.... Looking for a positive.

Hello everyone. I'm 30 years old and recently had a laporoscopy where it was found that I have stage 2 endomitriosis and muscular dysfunction on my fallopian tubes.

I've always suffered with painful periods, at times so bad I could cry but I only found I had endo because I was referred due to struggling to conceive.

Its been almost 2 years now. Initially I was told that I would have to wait another 18months before the NHS would consider us for IVF because my infertility was unexplained. However, due to my egg reserve being low and my FSH level being towards the top of the scale, the consultant told me that realistically after 18 months due to those factors the NHS WOULDN'T consider me a suitable candidate! The diagnosis was pay £6000 and go private. I was heartbroken worrying that by the time we'd saved the money my clock would have run out of time so to speak. I was then offered a laporoscopy as a final means of investigation where it was discovered I had endo and muscle dysfunction. The removed the endo and I have now been told that my chances of natural conception should improve however if I have not conceived in 3 months I will be put forward for NHS IVF.

I'm hoping We can take a positive from this and use the diagnosis in a good way.

Fingers crossed... Has anyone else been in this situation and had a happy ending?

Thanks for taking the time to read xx
