Endo, PCOS, the Mirena and Metformin

So I have been struggling with my weight for quite a while now. And with a recent diagnosis of PCOS would explain why, also having a mirena coil doesn't help as this also contribute to weight gain. I've now been put on Metformin to reduce symptoms of PCOS and help me loose weight.

Anybody else been on Metformin and lost weight or found it didn't help?

I tried it before and it made me really nauseous but I always get side effects! I've heard good things from other people so it should help!

Yes it helped me lose loads of weight!!! But I had to stop as I was getting diarrea everyday and lots of side effects. Now I use natural herbs and have a change in food lifestyle. I'm still bigger than I should be but that's something PCOS people have to deal with .....I would give it a try and see how it works for you
