Endometrosis and ivf

I will be starting IVF soon and got endometrosis.

How many scans are done during IVF with endo?

Hi,

I'm in the same boat, endo and IVF. I'm due to start my next round in June, it'll be my 2nd of 2 frozen cycles. This is because I've got to have an op on my tubes in August. I'm being treated privately and have to go in every other day for scans and blood tests, weekends included. Not too bad as its only for 2 weeks. This is different to the NHS as I was going in every other day but not at the weekends and there were no blood tests.

Thanks for the details. So for 2 weeks, they do scans and blood test daily??

I am working full time. Not sure how to manage it?scans and blood tests are done any time of the day?

Scans are every other day and I've only had to have the blood tests done now that I'm being treated privately. Because of having the blood tests the appointments need to be in the morning so they have time to get the results back and then advise you on any dose changes for that night. If you are NHS or your clinic doesn't do the blood tests then the scan times are a bit more flexible.

In am NHS patient and they do scans on 2,4,6,8,10,12 day right? Then egg collection and transfer right?
