I had my lap and it went really well.. I had a few issues when i came round but it's all sorted now, they're keeping me in overnight. I don't have endometriosis, my bowel was stuck to my ovary on the right side. I will stay on here though because I've made some fantastic friends and you've all been so very supportive

Hope you are all well xxx

Hi, I'm glad it all went well. If you don't mind me asking, how was your bowel stuck to your ovary if it wasn't Endo? Xx

Hi really glad to hear everything went ok and that you're on the mend. If you don't mind me asking, how long was your surgery as my right ovary is stuck to my bowel too, but my cervix is also stuck to my bladder and they are planning on taking everything out and also excision of endometriosis, adhesions? Xx

Hi Bernie have you had previous ops in that area, only I thought adhesions where caused by previous ops or endo, please someone correct me if that is wrong, did you have your op carried out by a general gyne or specialist?

Hope your recovery is a speady one, xxx

I thought that too. My discharge note said no endometriosis visible xx

Umm sounds suspious if your ovary was stuck to your bowel it would definatly suggest endo if you haven't had previous surgery!

As it doesn't stick for no reason?

Was it a general ob/gyni? And did he take any images?

my bowel was stuck to my womb and was told i had adhesions, obviously because i had that surgery i think my bowel is stuck again to my womb, so i too was under the impression it was caused by endo ??????.

I think the question needs to be asked (what caused the adhesion & if they took and images if so request them for 2nd opinion. X

Hi, hope you're feeling ok after your lap. I had adhesions not endo found on my lap too. When I asked how they were caused they said inflammation to me (I've had a haemorrhaging cyst). I've had more pain and problems with more the bowel and bladder since the lap and they think further adhesions in that area are causing problems. I've never had prior surgery either.
