Zoladex!

Hey my first time to comment, on 4th month of zoladex injection for endometriosis and getting severe pain in lower back and pelvis on all different pain relief. Has anyone else found this happening? The pain is really horrid but the gynae says it's the endo shrinking. TIA xx

Sorry sent without finishing sorry thus happening I was told however that zoladex doesn't work fir everyone.what did gaeni suggest staying on the implants for a while?

Yes I've had 3 ok months on it. It has stopped the bleeding but pain come back worse and in different places one week ago. So fed up! N he said he has heard of it mid cycle as a sign it's working/shrinking. But I'm not sure? 2 more injections to go. Xx

Thanks for your comment I know I don't have much faith myself tbh although it is a private hospital. I can see there is one at the hospital close to me I think I will ask for this. They should do that as standard really. X

Hi there, I'm on my 3rd round (1x1 month and 2x3month) injections nearing the end of the 3rd month. In agony on the left side (assuming it is to do with the endo and bowel) but thank god I am eventually seeing endo specialist tomorrow for answers as been off last 2 days because of the pain and fear for my job 😭. Had I been told side effects I would have 2nd thoughts

Hi I have been on zoladex for 10 months n due 11 month injection tue.I have bad pain on my right side which goes down my hip into the back of my knee similar to sciatic pain.I have tried physio and acupuncture but to no avail Im on a waiting list for hysterectomy!

I just had my second lap at the BSGE centre.

Surgeons struggled to clean up some of the endo as it was very messy. I was given Zoladex for six months to stop ovulations and, as I understood it, to stop progression before the next lap in around 6 months time.
