Had my surgery!

Hello ladies.

Last Tuesday I had my surgery fir adenomyosis, fibroids and endometriosis.

The surgery was more complex than expected as I had to have my left side pelvic sidewall dissected ( ?), large nodules cut away from my US ligaments and bowel. I had endometriosis everywhere apart from my bladder and left ovary.

My surgeon excised all of the endometriosis and removed my uterus , cervix, right ovary, both tubes and US ligaments.

I am still experiencing a lot of pain but just relieved that it's all over !

Hi, glad you are doing well post op. I had similar but kept uterus and was in agony, it was actually down to the US ligament. So I was trying to do more (as had previous op 3mths prior) and wondered why I was struggling. So if you have pain in pelvis where ligament work was take it easy. (I wish I'd have been told that!). Here's to a speedy recovery x

I'm very relieved it's all over and all that I have to do is rest and recover!
