Had an absolute nightmare today. No one seems to want to help me at my hospital, any one else felt like this? It wasn't until I burst into tears that then they offered to try something else. Just about had enough! Has anyone on here gone private? I seem to think if I pay then maybe they'll sort something out Rubbish Monday for me!

Horrible hospital visit!
Hi Nimita, I did it privately but because I have medical insurance where I work (I couldn't afford it otherwise). Send me a private message if you want more info.
Regards.

Hi Nikita, I am so sorry you have had this experience. I did when I lived in the UK so went private, private GP was amazing but she referred me to a complete insensitive ...... This was before I was diagnosed with Endo and he told me it was just a hormone imbalance and I was young but not that young and should consider Uterine ablation as it was 'just a hormone imbalance'. We all have our bad days and I found out after that he was having some personal problems himself so lashing out at patients was his solution. Thankfully I now live in Switzerland and was diagnosed here privately and my treatment has been much better. Private or NHS I think it is the luck of the draw, but if you are not happy with your treatment then definitely I would search for another specialist. Good luck and big hugs! I hope you find the support you need soon.
