Had a great visit to gyno today.

Went to see my gynocologist today, he is so nice, I live on a small island in Scotland so he flies up from the mainland .

Has started me on prostap injections 3 monthly one, told me all about the side effects etc.... said if I couldn't cope with the side effects by the 4 th week he has instructed my doctor to give me hrt. He honestly could not have been any nicer. Sending me to mainland for an MRI scan to see if endo has stuck any of my organs together in preparation for surgery. He thinks a hysterectomy is inevitable, so he wants to be prepared when surgery happens after the prostap, if it works.

The joys of living on an island are they don't have the prostap in the hospital so it has to be ordered in , otherwise I would have started it today. I have to wait until Friday.

Just wanted to say there are good male gyno doctors out there.
