Either the Doctor or the nurse - I had 3 of my zoladexes done by 3 different nurses and 1 was done by GP.

Decapeptyl is injected in the bum or thigh - which ever you prefer or the person giving it prefers.

Hi I had the decapeptyl and the nurse at the hospital gave me mine in my bum it wasn't sore after and then they told me to make appointments with my doctors to have the injections every 28 days and not to be late with them. Good luck with them hope it helps you x

Thanks for your replies, I am really excited at starting it, i am just so fed up with the constant pain. He said if it works then a radical hysterectomy will be next. Just want my life back. Had a lap last Sept and had complicatations after surgery, was in hospital for 6 weeks was supposed to b overnight only. Specialist never gave me any indication that Endo could come back, and boy has it came back. Hoping this injection works.

This injection worked brilliantly for me. It was like having my life back again. The only side effect I had was hot sweats at night. The doctors didn't tell me that I could take something for this so as a recommendation if this happens to you see your GP.
