Ive got endemetriosis on my bladder and kidney. Tried 2 coils for pain but both slipped. Had 2 months of Prostap injections but they've caused gastro problems. Do you think a hysterectomy is my best bet now or any other suggestons. I've had 2 children and am 44 so its not like I want any more children.

Hi Nicola

I too am 44 and have endo on bladder, fibroids and adenomyosis..... Have suffered with pain since I was 17 and never had children so my last gyne apt. I pushed for a hysterectomy as I've had enough. I know it doesn't cure endo but I feel it will at least improve quality of day to day living. I'm having overies out too to prevent oestrogen from continuing to feed endo if any is left after op.

Massive decision for anyone but you know your own body .....hope all goes well for you....I can't wait for my op.

Xx
