Distention of ureter and kidney

Hi all, I am looking for some advice. I was diagnosed with severe endometriosis in December 2013 and had my first lap in January 2014. I was in theatre for nearly 5 hours and it went well but they could not remove it all due to where it was and that it could cause complications (they'd already had to stitch part of my bowel back together) I was operated on by a urologist and gynaecologist. I have since had an MRI and there is still distention of my left ureter and kidney and I'm wondering whether anyone has had this experience or any advice. My surgeon was brilliant but they are not yet an accredited endo centre. They have said that 'future management depends on how much it is bothering me' however I don't want to risk any future problems with my kidney. I have occasional pain and that is usually before going to the toilet or after exercise. I have been doing the endo diet for the last 3 months and I have not taken any pain killers in this time. The consultant has said he is happy to see me sooner than our previously arranged appt in January 2015. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
