Basically. Severe endo. 10 years. Left ovary and falliopian tube removed april 2013. Pain became unbearable again by last december. Mirena put in. Didnt help. Was bleeding since Dec of last year.. Mirena Still in.. Started Zoladex x 6 weeks ago... have had zero pain until today.finally stopped bleeding a week ago..no HRT ( hot flashes and headaches are getting worse -- was told this is to be expected) .. the pain is not severe but im confused. Pain is in right ovary area. Is this normal? Any advice would help as I was under the impression once the pain was gone it would be gone until sometime after the treatment. Thanks in advance for any advice

Confused! Zoladex help please...
Hi, I had zoladex for 14 months (was meant to be 6 to 9 but what can ya do?!) and for the first couple of months it was a it up and down, kind like starting a new pill or having a coil in.
It basically makes you menopausal and that is also very up and down as my mum will confirm... I'd say give it time. I managed my full treatment without HRT as the side effects to that seamed just as bad as the Zoladex ones and my periods and accompanying symptoms stopped completely by my 3rd injection.
After I completed the treatment it took a couple of months to get back to 'normal' with my periods but by then I'd already started back on the POP.
Good luck x
Hi there
I have been having zoladex implants for a year now as it was the only thing that I could get some relief with.bleeding stopped within a month of first round of zoladex and I have had no pain at all up until a few weeks ago where I could feel the dreaded endo pain creeping in no bleeding and pain not severe but there all the same .i have been re referred to the endo clinic to have a chat about this .
Like you I am confused I knew zoladex would not get rid of endo but I was under the impression it was put to sleep therefor no symptoms .well we shall see what they say in the clinic and I will let you know what they say.
haven't any advice really but sometimes it's knowing you are not alone with weird symptoms we seem to have .i do hope your pain goes my gp did say my pain on the zoladex could be a temporary flare up due to recent urine infection I have had but who knows.
All the best and rake carex
Thanks both of u for your response
