Can anyone make any sense of these hormone levels for me? Or where in my cycle they suggest I'm at? (I haven't had a period since January this year) My LH is 27, FSH is 5.3 and free testosterone is 50. I have no idea what the normal range should be :-S
Thanks xx

You really should contact your GP for interpretation. Hormone checks are usually taken day 2-5 (follicular stage) or on cd21 (luteal phase). As you have not had progesterone I'm guessing you could be anywhere in your cycle. Your LSH seems to be at a normal level for a menstruating woman (but you have supplied no units so I am guessing this figure is in IU/L). Your LH is non ovulating so it means that you are at a stage in your cycle where you are not just about to ovulate. Your testosterone seems high. Do you have PCSO or symptoms of excess hair, acne etc?
I really think you should contact your doctor for an accurate interpretation.
Thank you for your reply. My results came to me from the hospital and unfortunately did not give any units or range as a guide and no other explanation other than suspected PCOS. Even though it's been nearly 7 months since my last period the hospital are wanting to wait another 2 months to see if my period returns for they start the progesterone challenge which I'm not happy about. My last hormone check of my LH and FSH levels were showing mid cycle back in May so if they're the same now it's unlikely they're going to change in the next few months without any help. I will definitely speak to my GP as soon as possible; she's a hard lady to get hold of these days!
