Hi I'm wondering if anyone has any professional advice. I was taking serapatase for one month and have just got a positive pregnancy. Should I continue with this or cease immediately?

States: "Special Precautions & Warnings:

Pregnancy and breast-feeding: Not enough is known about the use of serrapeptase during pregnancy and breast-feeding. Stay on the safe side and avoid use.

Bleeding disorders: Serrapeptase might interfere with blood clotting, so some researchers worry that it might make bleeding disorders worse. If you have a bleeding disorder, check with your healthcare provider before using serrapeptase. [Endo is classed as a bleeding disorder]

Surgery: Serrapeptase might interfere with blood clotting. There is a concern that it might increase bleeding during and after surgery. Stop using serrapeptase at least 2 weeks before a scheduled surgery."

Despite several homeopathic pages advising that it is safe - it is heresay and there doesn't apper to have been any clinical trials on the drug during pregnancy.

You shouldn't need it in any case as pregnancy puts endo in to suspension from activity while you are pregnant.
