yes that can be a problem if they are not in a position to release an egg and it cannot reach the entrance to the fallopian tubes. Ideally they need unsticking and putting back where they ought to be. The other problem comes from if you do happen to fall pregnant (which is still a possibility) if the ovaries are still stuck together with adhesions and the developing baby grows and stretches everything including adhesions to breaking point, when they tear it will hurt.

When you do have adhesions that extensive it is adviseable where possible to have them all cut back and the organs freed up before you try to conceive a pregnancy for your own comfort. But it is not always possible to do that. You need to discuss this with your surgeon.

Hi,

There's no hard and fast rule on how it will effect your fertility in your case as nobody gets stuck together in the exact same way! However I can give you some hope as my ovaries were very stuck and clamped down, I had major surgery at the end of last year for severe grade 4 endo and follow up scans showed my left ovary is restuck (it has got restock twice now, 10+ years stuck upside down it doesn't want to stay where it supposed to now!) - but I have recently discovered that I am pregnant! and I'm pretty sure I ovulated on that side!
