Not diagnosed yet.....but my symptoms....

I was diagnosed with an ovarian cyst around 4 years ago and never caused me any problems. Around 3 mons ago out of the blue I started with horrendous pelvic pain, pain at the top of my legs, unable to hardly walk. My hormones has been horrendous, and not just before my period, I would say around ovulation time until I have finished my period. This pain comes and goes to the point I'm in tears. The pain has been more settled this month however my hormones have been horrendous. I have had scans, smear tests and swabs everything is fine and now they are looking into endometriosis. Is the hormonal problems a part of endometriosis? I have never been this bad it is awful
