I am about to start decapeptyl as I am in a lot of pain from my endometriosis and will be starting ivf when the funding comes through, has anyone else been in this situation and what can I expect?
It's all so confusing and worrying,
Lots of love

Just wondering how you got on with this and if it has affected/delayed your IVF in anyway?
I'm currently waiting for an op to remove adhesions, cysts and endo but have been told this May help, we were TTC so I'm hoping after my op we can try again and don't want to cause any delays if I can help it but also can stand the pain, it's so hard to know what to do for the best.
I did these injections for 4 months. They were a life saver and got rid of all my endo pain. They took 2 months to get out of my system so we could start Ivf and yes your pains do come back once the injections are out of your system I'm afraid. In terms of side effects I got hot sweats at night. Didn't realise at the time they can give you something for this either so if it happens to you ask your gp
I've just started decapeptyl injections and will be on them for 3 month before doing my third attempt at a frozen embryo transfer (had ivf in 2012 and have had two frozen cycles this years with embryos from that ivf, both resulted in chemical pregnancies)
I had a lap on 20th to remove a 10x12cm endometrioma, adhesions and endo. Decided on decapeptyl whilst I recover and then having fertility treatment in spring.
Earlier this year I did 5 months of zoladex and went straight into a frozen cycle. Sadly this did result in a chemical pregnancy (positive test, but a few days later I had a miscarriage)
If anyone wants to talk about ivf etc, always willing to share my experiences etc.
