sam - when you say middle, are you taking horizontal bloating around the middle between the belly button and top of pelvis?

or vertical right up from the bladder to the rib cage, so the very front of your tummy rather than bloating extending to the sides too?

Everyone gets some tummy bloat fluctuation to some degree with the monthly cycle, it comes and goes.

But if you have persistent bloating then it could be a sign of endo, or ovarian cysts, or even of IBS (something you are eating or drinking irritating your digestive tract on the way down).

When my cysts have been leaking that did lead to more pronounced bloating on one side than the other, and knocked my belly button from the middle over to one side by nearly 2 inches.

Any time you have longterm bloating then it needs to be checked out.

If the bloat is swelling up between ovulation and period starting then ebbs away while you are on a period then that could be indicative of endo or just part of the menstrual cycle generally.

I don't know a great deal about PCOs, but various websites report that bloating can be a symptom of PCOs.

but so can a lot of things, if you are troubled by it speak to your GP. there are fluid retention drugs you can take to remove excess fluid from the body which may give you some relief in the shorter term, but really it needs checking to see if there is any underlying cause that could be treated and provide the relief you desire from the bloat.

Sam that's the way I am.

I'm so bloated below my boobs to my belly button then not as bad below there. I feel quite delicate inside where I'm bloated.

I too look pregnant! Wishful thinking!

I also have PCOS but not sure which one is causing this. I've been trying to loose weight but I struggle a lot with the PCOS symptoms.

Me too I've got pcos a 7cm cyst on ovary and endo. I try not to eat bread and it dose help and my pains through the years have been so bad I've passed out with pain and the bloating makes me look pregnant and my whole belly is rock hard!! I'm now due to have a op but it's taken years and only till u have ct or MRI can it b shown cause I had a scan only last week and the radiographer said she can't see endo only the cyst!! Which only shows scans r no good because I have it really bad on tubes and womb lining and it's also all over my bowel!

Do u get constipated or the other way at all!? I get both at same time which is strange I know.
