I took paracetamol an hour ago but it's not working can I take tramadol now or do I have to wait 3 more hours?

Some tramadol is in combination with paracetamol - so check your tramadol tablets and the advice leaflet to see if they are already including paracetmol in the ingredients.

Also depends how many paracetamol you took an hour ago?

I frequently had 4 paracetamol every 4 -6 hours for many years of periods and I am still alive and never got hospitalised for OD on the drug. Not that it is anything to rely on medically speaking - but it could mean that even if the tramadol does include parcetamol, you may be okay to take them if for example you only had a couple of paracetamol an hour before hand.

If there is no paracetmol mixed with the tramadol then not a problem at all. They can be taken at the same time.

Yes, you can take the tramadol now, as long as the tablets don't have paracetamol in. It works in a different way to paracetamol. Hope it helps.
