Yesterday I had a laparoscopy to see now much endo had returned since the last lap I had, as I have been getting a lot of pain and symptoms like before. When I came around from the anaesthetic the doctor informed me that they found no visible signs of endo, only scars from where it used to be.
I'm slightly confused as my last laparoscopy was two years ago and they could only remove 70%.
Can endo dissapear on its own?
Also don't understand why I'm still in a lot of discomfort if that is the case. I trust what the hospital is saying as the consultant I have now is very good, just feeling a bit confused.
Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Hi scarring can cause horrendous pain, also what have you been using for treatment since last op becuase obviously little oestrogen or none at all can really reduce endo I was told that pregnacy really helps endo for that reason works in same way. What fab news though re endo not your pain of course best of luck.
Hi, scar tissue and adhesions can often cause you more pain than the endo. Hope you're feeling better soon x
I'm not sure if I'm right or not. But could the pain be caused from the scaring?
Thankyou for your replies I think you are right, it could very well be scar tissue as I do have a fair bit. Also I think I have slight IBS which causes my nausea, etc.
