I had a lap in Nov but they found only adhesions but my Dr believes I have endo as found prev so decided to treat me with northisterone. I've had no bleeding up until my period arrived this week and so far it's been v painful. Should I see my Dr or just persevere?

Norethisterone is great - while you are taking it- as you can keep taking it so you don't have a period - but get sick or forget to take it and bingo - that triggers a period.

So while not ideal - it is pretty good at stopping you hving a period provided you stick with taking them regular as clockwork and don't miss one with an upset tummy.

I would be inclined to just keep taking it and not having a period. Alternatively the Mirena Coil once it gets to work does the same thing- only you don't have the faff of taking any tablets each and every day.

Thanks for your reply Impatient. I'll have to make sure I take them at the same time each day. Was late on Thursday so obviously started my period. The pain has been really bad this week so made me question them but I'll keep taking them as been less painful before that.
